At 17 years old, Hayley Kiyoko (Alcroft) has never wavered from the path that leads to her dreams. She was "discovered' at the tender age of five when, for moral support, she went with her friend to a photo shoot. The director asked her to step in front of the camera and she ended up in a national print ad for Knowledgeware. Nickelodeon spotted her at the Ice Rink one day and she ended up featured in and narrating a short piece about children in sports called, "I'm Hayley, a Skater". Since that first taste of fame, she has taken charge. Insisting on drum lessons at 6, she was writing drum charts for new releases and selling them in a local music store by age 11. She has appeared in national commercials for GM Onstar, K-Mart, Slim Jim, the spokesperson for Cinnamon Toast Crunch, a couple of guest star roles on Nickelodeon's "Unfabulous" (2004)" and appeared in the film "Blades of Glory (2007)". As a dancer, she studies with Scotty Nyugen. Her Hip Hop team placed third at the Dance Nationals in 2005. She is a prolific songwriter and she produces her original music on Apple's 'Garage Band', playing the drums, keyboards, guitars and singing her own backup vocals. In school she has had the lead in every musical since middle school were she was president of the school and received top honors when culminating. She was president of her High School freshman class and in her sophomore year she was appointed Commissioner of Entertainment then Commissioner of Pep Rallies in her Junior year. Next year she will serve as School Vice President. Also a member of the ComedySportz Improv team, she created and choreographed "The Agoura High Step Team" that has now been faculty approved as a school club under her direction. She maintains a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of a five girl singing group, The Stunners, who just signed a three record/video deal with Sony/Columbia Records. The summer of '08 finds her in Vancouver, Canada, filming Warner Bros.' live-action "Scooby Doo! The Mystery Begins (2009) (TV)" in the lead role of Velma. Her principal recently described her, as "A Force of Nature" and he just may be right!
